To get the most from your Ivory Candle Co. experience, follow these simple care tips to ensure a clean, even burn every time:

1. Trim the Wick
   Before each burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This helps prevent soot and encourages a steady flame.
2. Let It Burn
   Allow the wax to melt across the entire surface on the first burn (usually 2–3 hours). This sets the “memory” of the candle and prevents tunneling.
3. Burn Responsibly
   Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool and harden before relighting.
4. Keep It Clean
   Avoid dust and debris in the wax by keeping the lid on when not in use. Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable.
5. Know When to Say Goodbye
   Stop burning your candle when about ½ inch of wax remains. This prevents overheating the container and ensures safety.
